SPHA Engages in Pinellas County PIO Meeting to Prepare for Hurricane Season
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL - The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) is getting prepared for hurricane season. SPHA Director of Communications, Nick Fokianos, participated in the Pinellas County Public Information Officer (PIO) meeting on May 15th. The theme for the meeting was hurricane preparedness, featuring speakers from FEMA, NOAA, and Pinellas County Emergency Management. They held a roundtable discussion about the upcoming hurricane season.

The 2024 Atlantic hurricane season begins on June 1st and ends on November 30th.
