SPHA Hosts Holiday Food Drive to Assist Metropolitan Ministries

ST. PETERSBURG, FL  (JANUARY 12, 2024) - The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) joyfully embraced the spirit of giving in November 2023 by hosting a holiday food drive for our community partner Metropolitan Ministries.

Metro Ministries is a volunteer and donor fueled nonprofit helping homeless and at-risk in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, and Pasco.

SPHA collected food donations, which assisted Metro Ministries to help alleviate suffering and promote dignity among 32,000 families, and distribute more than 482,000 pounds of food across the Tampa Bay community and beyond!
