ST. PETERSBURG, FL - On August 15th, the St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) held a Family Night at Disston Place Apartments, celebrating the return to the 2023-2024 school year. The evening was filled with joy as families came together for a backpack giveaway and ice cream social.

Ulas Butler and Michelle Brown from United Way Suncoast engaged families in a Learn 'n Play session, which helps families learn how to teach young children skills through play.

Huge thank you to Deenae Dates and her partners for the donation of beautiful backpacks filled with school supplies. The kids were elated!
