UPDATED JOB OPPORTUNITIES AT JORDAN PARK FOR RESIDENTS

ATTENTION ALL SPHA-ASSISTED RESIDENTS AND HCV PARTICIPANTS!

New opportunities are available to residents of Public Housing, Affordable Housing and HCV!

Our General Contractor and its subcontractors are seeking to hire SPHA residents and community members for skilled and non-skilled job opportunities for this construction project.

If you are a resident of any of SPHA's housing programs or Section 8 subsidized properties and are legally eligible to work in the United States, you can apply for available employment opportunities. With your application, you will need to present proper United States Citizenship verification and documentation of your residency. However, if you are a resident or HCV participant, you may already have this information on file with the SPHA.

Each applicant will be presented for consideration for employment and be considered on a case-by-case basis.

As of May 17, 2022, current open positions are:

  • Electrician's Helper - no experience required - just a good attitude and willingness to learn (opportunities for apprenticeship and to earn your certification)

  • Skilled Trades - plumbers, electricians, drywall, carpentry, etc. (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

If you are interested, please contact the following St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) Social Services staff to confirm resident qualification and complete a job application.
