Resident Notice - Become Our Next Resident Commissioner

Seeking New Resident Commissioner.

The St. Petersburg Housing Authority is currently conducting interviews for the volunteer position of Resident Commissioner. This is a volunteer, unpaid position on the SPHA Board of Commissioners open to SPHA Public Housing residents and Housing Choice Voucher participants only.

The Resident Commissioner represents our Public Housing residents, as well as Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) participants. As a member of the SPHA Board of Commissioners, he or she will bring firsthand knowledge to assist in establishing policies to provide quality housing for low and moderate income families.

The Resident Commissioner will also be responsible for attending monthly board meetings and board committee meetings, which are held virtually until further notice.
