SPHA Engages in Affordable Housing Roundtable Hosted by U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (APRIL 5, 2024) - Today, representatives from the St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) participated in a roundtable discussion convened by U.S. Representative Kathy Castor, focusing on the critical issue of affordable housing.

The event brought together key stakeholders in the area to address the ongoing challenges and opportunities in ensuring affordable housing options for residents in St. Petersburg and Pinellas County.

During the discussion, participants delved into critical topics such as the allocation of resources, forging effective partnerships, and navigating the regulatory landscape to further the cause of affordable housing. Congresswoman Castor provided a federal legislative update and highlighted the latest developments and initiatives at the national level aimed at addressing housing affordability issues.
